A QUICK-LIKE REPLACEMENT FOR LASAGNE WITH-OUT ALL THE HASSLE.
YOU COULD SAY IT IS IMPOSSIBLY EASY BECAUSE IT MAKES ITS OWN CRUST.
MAKES A NICE LUNCHEON OR MAIN DISH.
WHEN I CRAVE LASAGNE, I MAKE THIS.

Ingredients

3/4 c
cottage cheese
1/4 c
parmigiano-reggiano, grated or regular parmesean
1 lb
hamburger
1/2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
basil, dried
1 tsp
tarragon, dried
1/8 tsp
ground pepper
1 can(s)
tomato paste [6 oz.]
1 1/4 c
mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 c
milk
2
eggs
2/3 c
biskquick biscuit mix

Step-By-Step

1YOU'LL NEED A 9 INCH DEEP-DISH PIE PLATE; SPRAYED
2PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES
3MIX TOGETHER AND SPREAD COTTAGE CHEESE AND PARMESEAN CHEESE IN THE PIE PLATE.
4BROWN HAMBURG; DRAIN..
5STIR TOGETHER INTO THE HAMBURG; 3/4 CUP MOZZERELLA, SALT, BASIL, PEPPER, TARRAGON AND TOMATO PASTE.
6SPOON AND SPREAD OVER THE COTTAGE CHEESE.
7WHISK TOGETHER THE MILK, EGGS AND BISQUICK.
8BAKE AT 400 DEGREES FOR 40-50 MINUTES OR UNTIL WHEN A KNIFE INSERTED IN CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN.
9THEN SPRINKLE ON TOP THE REST OF THE MOZZARELLA CHEESE; BAKE FOR 1-2 MINUTES OR UNTIL CHEESE MELTS.
10LET SET 5 MINUTES BEFORE CUTTING.
11NOTE..SERVE WITH A TOSSED SALAD.
