The casserole turned out great and was much easier than sitting there and rolling each leaf with meat & rice. The result was great without all the work.
cooked or instant rice
dry minced onion
lean ground beef
can tomato sauce
1Steam cabbage for a few minutes. Drain
2In bowl, combine cooked ot instant rice, onion, beef, salt & pepper.
3In greased casserole dish, place half of cabbage.
4Press all of meat mixture then top with remaining cabbage.
5In small bowl, combine water, tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon & Worcestershire sauce. Pour over cabbage. Sprinkle with salt & pepper
6Cover with foil & bake until meat is done & cabbage is tender
