Bunyan's Diabetic Grilled Sirloin Steak with Mushroom Sherry Sauce

Ingredients

2 lb
sirloin steak
1/3 c
cup worcestershire sauce
4 clove
garlic, minced
juice of 1 lemon
1 Tbsp
fresh ginger, grated
sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
2 c
fresh mushrooms (any kind)
3 Tbsp
olive oil
1 c
cream sherry
1/2 c
beef stock
1 tsp
dry mustard

Step-By-Step

1Combine Worcestershire sauce, garlic, lemon juice, ginger and salt and pepper

2pour over steak and marinate for several hours

3Grill steak over medium-high heat until done to your liking

4Meanwhile saute mushrooms in olive oil

5add sherry, beef broth and dry mustard and continue cooking for about 5 minutes more

6Pour sauce over cooked steak and serve.
