Beer Pot Roast

Mary Ann Thompson

I got this recipe from a very dear friend/co-worker. She made it often and brought it to work. We always split the big deli onion rolls and made sandwiches! YUMMY! Whenever I make this, I cook potatos, carrots, and other veggies separately. But, I must admit, sometimes it's just the roast with lots of onion rolls!!!

oregano, dried
2 clove
garlic, chopped
4 to 5 pound rump roast

1Place the roast in a large slow cooker.

2Place all other ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.

3Pour liquid over roast. Cook on low setting for 12 hours or until done.

4Serve with onion rolls for sopping up all that delicious juice.
