I love this beef stew. This is the first beef stew I cook for my family and our friends 39 years ago. I wrote down the recipe so I could use it over and over. I created it with no recipes for I didn't even own an cookbook then. Family and friends enjoy it. It still a favor of my family.

Ingredients

2 3/4 lb
beef round steak
16 large
potatoes,cubed
4 large
carrots, cubed
2 large
red onions
3 stalk(s)
celery
1 pkg
peas, frozen
1 can(s)
corn, canned
water to cover
1 can(s)
green beans, fresh
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

Step 1 Direction Photo

1Cube the beef steak. Put in Large slow cooker.

2Wash Potatoes .Peel the Potatoes. Cube the Potatoes into 1/2 inch cubes. Put in Slow Cooker.

3Wash Carrots. Peel the carrots. Cube Carrots in 2 inch cubes. Put in Slow Cooker.

4Add Peas, Corn, Green beans. Add enough Water to cover everything.

5Peel onions and dice. Put in Slow Cooker.

6add salt and ground black pepper to taste.

7Chop up Celery Stalks. Put in Slow cooker. Cover with lid. Plug in slow cooker. Turn on slow cooker to medium or number 5.

8Cook all day and it is ready when you come home from work. Serve to your family.
