Ingredients

1/3 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
2 1/2 lb
beef short ribs, boneless
1/4 c
butter
1 c
onion, chopped
1 c
beef broth
3/4 c
red wine vinegar
3/4 c
brown sugar
1/4 c
hot sauce (or chili sauce)
2 Tbsp
ketchup
2 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp
garlic, minced
1 tsp
chili powder (hot or mild; your preference)

Step-By-Step

1Put flour, salt and pepper in a bag.

2Add ribs and shake to coat.

3Brown ribs in butter in a large skillet.

4Put in slow cooker.

5In same skillet, combine remaining ingredients.

6Bring to a boil, stirring.

7Pour over ribs.

8Cover and cook on low for 9 hours.
