Ingredients

2 Tbsp
butter and margarine
1 c
thinly sliced onions
1 c
carrots, cut in thin strips
1 clove
garlic, minced
1 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
pepper
1/8 tsp
marjoram
1/8 tsp
thyme
1 c
beef broth or bouillon
1 can(s)
(6-oz) mushroom crowns
1 pt
braised beef cube mix, thawed
buttered noodles, sprinkled with poppy seeds

Step-By-Step

1Melt butter or margarine in a large skillet. Saute onions, carrots and garlic until onions are lightly browned. Add salt, pepper, marjoram, thyme, beef broth or bouillon, mushrooms and BRAISED BEEF CUBE MIX, THAWED.

2Stir until well blended. Cover and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender. Serve over hot buttered noodles sprinkled with poppy seeds.
