The whole Family loves this recipe! This is healthy and it can also be made with out the meat if your a vegetarian! I got this recipe from my ma. And she had asked me to make this one night cause she didn't feel like cookin it. so I made it and she said I made it taste better than hers. So when ever we have this for dinner she has me make it.

Ingredients For bean casserole

  • 1 lb
    ground beef or ground turkey cooked (optional)
  • 1/2
    small onion yellow chopped and cooked (optional)
  • 1/2 c
    of ketchup
  • 1/4 c
    of yellow mustard
  • 1/3 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    white distilled vinegar
  • 1 can
    black beans
  • 1 can
    pinto beans
  • 1 can
    dark kidney beans
  • 1 can
    light kidney beans

How To Make bean casserole

    cook ground Beef, or Ground Turkey. Then once cooked put it in a crock pot and throw you chopped onions in the pan and cook 'em till they're lightly browned and put them in with the cooked meat. Onions are optional.

    Then open your canned beans and drain all except for one can. and put the beans in the crock pot. and then add the Mustard, brown sugar, white distilled vinegar, and ketchup to the crock pot. your can add more mustard or ketchup or brown sugar to your liking. Then stir everything up real good and put the lid on the crock pot.

    let cook on high for about an hour and 45 mins. til beans are a little soft. and serve in a bowl and enjoy!
