Aunt Sandy's Baked Steak

This recipe is my aunt's.. but I have shared it with everyone I know. We make it quite a few times a year. Perfect Sunday dinner, and make killer sandwiches the next day (if there are any leftovers!)Serve with mashed potatoes, or egg noodles. It makes a lot of gravy!
Couldn't be easier to make.

Ingredients

3-4 lb
boneless chuck roast
1 pkg
brown gravy mix - dry
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c
water
1 Tbsp
yellow mustard
1 Tbsp
brown sugar
2 tsp
chili powder
1 small
onion - chopped
1/4 c
butter

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat the oven to 325.
Place the roast in a large casserole that has a lid.
Combine the the remaining ingredients in a saucepan and warm until well blended.
Pour mixture over roast, cover, pop it it the oven and bake for 2 1/2 hours!
That's it!
Melt in your mouth tender..
