I started making this when my daughter was very little. She never wanted 'stuff' in it. Stuff mainly meant vegetables but especially onions. This would be good with any veggies added but this version uses the creamed corn in place of a creamed soup. If you added other vegetables you may want to add another can of creamed corn.

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 clove
    garlic, or garlic powder
  • 1 sm
    onion, or onion powder or flakes
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 can
    creamed corn
  • 1 bag
    hash brown potatoes, shredded
  • shredded cheese

How To Make alicia's favorite hot dish

    Brown the ground beef. Add the seasonings, onion, and garlic. Add the creamed corn to the beef mixture.

    Grease a 1 1/2 qt casserole. Put a layer of hash browns on the bottom and up the sides if it will stay. Add half the meat mixture. Repeat. Put Hash browns on the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min. Top with cheese and return to the oven for about 15 min.
