This is a recipe my Mother made up one day when she had the family up to her cabin , I had not heard of chocolate on meat before but it was wonderful . So rich and gooey. Yum!! Try it you'll like it :))))))))

Ingredients For adells chocolate pot roast

3 lbbottom round pot roast
-
4 smbakers chocolate squares ( semi-sweet)

1 canbeef consomme
-
4 clovegarlic
-
2 sprigbay leaf

2 tsplemon pepper
-
1 tsps/p

2 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin ( to brown roast on all 4 sides)

1 lgonion( sliced)
How To Make adells chocolate pot roast

1With oil in dutch oven brown pot roast on all 4 sides.

2Add can of beef broth.

3Put 4 slits in top of roast and insert garlic cloves.

4Add rest of ingredients to top of roast cover w/lid and let cook for 3 hrs. Checking to add water if needed .
