grease bottom of pan ( even the crock pot if you go with that )Sprinkle each layer with salt and pepper,before adding next layer.
Place potato on the bottom of pan. Add the layer of onions, then the burger,the layer of green peppers ending with a layer of tomatoes.
bake for 2 hours at 350 or slow cook for 3 hours on high in the crock pot
