Pumpkin Pie Protein Shake

If you regularly make protein shakes, try this combination. It tastes just like pumpkin pie!
If you are not used to protein shakes, they make an excellent breakfast-on-the-go. You can get flavored protein powders in most grocery stores, in the natural foods section.

Ingredients

8-10 oz
milk, soy milk, or almond milk

serving (scoop) vanilla flavored protein powder
1/4 c
canned or pureed pumpkin
1/4 tsp
pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp
maple syrup (optional)

ice cubes

Directions Step-By-Step

Combine all ingredients in a blender, and process until smooth.

Not into protein powders? Make this a sweet treat by substituting 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream for the protein powder and ice cubes.
