Gluten-Free Banana Breakfast Smoothie
One of my friends told me that he loves this drink in the morning. He tells me that this low-fat protein-packed smoothie is perfect for on the go and by adding the yogurt at the very end impacts a creamy texture. Woody and I tried it and it's really good.
make 2 one cup servings
ground nutmeg or cinnamon
frozen sliced ripe large banana
plain 2% reduced fat greek yogurt
Combine first 5 ingredients in a blender and process for 2 minutes or until smooth.
Add yogurt and process just until blended and serve ammidiately.
NOTE:Instead of frozen banana you can substitute frozen strawberries with strawberry low fat yogurt, peach with low fat peach yogurt.
