A scrumptious white chocolate eggnog

2 large eggs, separated
3 t. superfine sugar
2 oz. white chocolate, melted
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup dark rum
1/3 cup brandy
freshly grated nutmeg, to taste
1/2 cup heavy (double) cream

Directions Step-By-Step

Beat egg yolks and sugar in medium pan with mixer on high speed until pale and creamy. Add chocolate, milk, rum, brandy and nutmeg and beat well. Bring almost to a boil over medium heat. Let cool and chill in refrigerator overnight. Beat the cream in medium bowl with mixer on high until soft peaks form. Using a clean bowl and beater, beat the egg whites on high speed until soft peaks form. Fold cream and egg whites into the egg mixture. Pour into small cups or glasses and sprinkle with additional eggnog. Serves 6
