To me, there is nothing better than a glass of iced sweet tea on a scorching hot day. I have been told that Ruben (American Idol Winner) should drink my tea, that the Tea he endorses is nothing compared to mine. I hope you will try it and enjoy it as much as we do.

Ingredients For southern sweet tea

2family size luzianne tea bags

2 cwater, then more later

2 csugar
How To Make southern sweet tea

1Place tea bags in a microwave safe container, add two cups of water. (be sure that your container is steep, tea will sometimes boil out if not) Set microwave on high for 5 minutes.

2While tea is boiling, fill gallon pitcher about 1/3 full of water. Add two cups of sugar and stir.

3When tea is a dark brown color add this to the pitcher. Add enough water to complete the gallon. Stir well.

4Serve over ice and enjoy!
