Ingredients
| 1 c | rolled oats (regular or quick cook) |
| 6 c | cold water |
| 1 pinch | salt |

Directions
Add all ingredients to a large bowl and soak overnight covered with a cloth.
Use a blender to whip the milk out of the oats.
Strain the milk through a fine sieve, or cheesecloth, into a bowl.
Store in a clean glass jar in the fridge.
Will keep for several days.Note:
You can still use the leftover pulp ot make oatmeal or throw it in your bread dough.To make it sweetened I took 1/4 cup sugar and just enough water to make it sort of liquid and microwaved it for 30 seconds then poured it in the oat milk
For the vanilla I put in two teaspoons for the recipe made above

OMG this sounds great! I never would have thought of using oatmeal this way... never heard of oatmilk before! I'm thinking using it anywhere regular milk goes... hot cocoa to mac n cheese to gravy or soup... can't wait to try it. Should be so much healthier and already know I should like the flavor!

So sorry Sue not sure what happened either. I scan my computer at least once a day. Hate those cookies which is what they usually find.
I am making a batch today and the picture will be up by tomorrow.
You drink it or use it in anything you would regular milk. It reminds me a little of rice milk only oatier. You can use it in cerials or anything. We just drink it inplace of milk. It is so much better for you. Milk has all those unhealthy antibiotics in it
