Weather too bad to go out tonight; but I was really wanting a Yoo-hoo chocolate drink. So I did this instead. I served it in the last Yoo-hoo bottle we had, which was clean and waiting for recycling.

Personalize This


Stir and dissolve the chocolate syrup in the milk. The idea is to make it a "double strength" chocolate milk. Make sure all the chocolate syrup is dissolved.
Stir in the ice water. Serve in a tall glass or bottle with a straw.

I didn't know Yoo Hoo had so much water in it. I think I'll just stick to good ole Hershey's Chocolate Milk and leave out the water (I want mine in a mug and I want it hot...I don't really like milk).
My Hubby loves yoo hoo's.

My mom has talked of drinking these when she was younger, and I've seen them many, many times in the stores but for whatever reason I haven't tried one yet. I'm going to have to try one here real soon.

Susan, I have always loved YooHoo's but never knew the ingredients. This is a great recipe and thanks for sharing. I look forward to making them for my nephews. With the water added in that makes it less fattening and cuts down on the sugar too. I may buy a few YooHoo's from the store and let them do a taste test with me. It will be alot of fun. Anything I can make that has less sugar in it I am happy too. (I will look forward to having some homemade YooHoo's too.) :-)
