Ingredients

2 cups apple cider
1 cup dark rum or more depending on taste
3 tbsp butter
4 tbsp brown sugar
a few cloves for taste
1/2 tsp each cinnamon and nutmeg
whipped cream

Directions Step-By-Step

In a saucepan melt butter with brown sugar. Don't burn sugar.
Add cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and cider. Heat until almost a boil.
Add rum and lower heat to simmer a few minutes.
Strain while pouring into cups.
Top with whipped cream
