whole cardamom seeds, pods removed (optional)
Combine water, tea bags, sugar, cloves, cardamom, if desired, cinnamon and ginger in a crock-pot slow cooker. Clover; cook on High 2-2 ½ hours.
Strain mixture; discard solids. (At this point, tea may be covered and refrigerated up to 3 days.)
Stir in milk just before serving, if desired. Serve warm or chilled.
