This is a good drink anytime , but especially at the holidays. Great for cold weather entertaining...and the smell of it simmering on the stove is like a little slilce of heaven .. :)

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Notes from the Test Kitchen:
This is a wonderfully different take on your everyday cider. The addition of orange and pineapple juice makes for a slightly sweet, slightly tangy flavor that's perfect for any special gathering!

Ingredients

2 qt
apple cider
2 c
orange juice
1 46 oz can(s)
pineapple juice
2
cinnamon stick
1 Tbsp
whole cloves
1/2 c
honey

Directions Step-By-Step

1
In a large stock pot over medium heat, combine the apple cider , orange juice, pineapple juice, cinnamon sticks, cloves and honey. Bring to a boil, then simmer over low heat, or transfer to a slow cooker to keep warm while serving. Strain out cinnamon sticks and cloves before serving if desired. :)

I made this for the first time this year at Thanksgiving. It was so good, I made another batch after Thanksgiving and about 3 more during Christmas. I did alter the recipe a bit by adding 2 cups of cranberry juice and adjusted the spices.....EXCELLENT drink

Nice to find a holiday recipe that is non alcoholic. Sounds so good when you want something a bit special.
