This float has been a favorite of mine since childhood. It's a creamy, cool treat that is perfect for a hot summer afternoon.

Ingredients

tall glass or pint mason jar
2 - 3 large
ice cubes (or about 1/2 to 2/3 cup smaller ice)
3 lg. scoop(s)
orange sherbet
fresca, sprite or 7-up soda (regular or diet)
1
iced tea spoon and/or straw
orange slice and/or mint for garnish, optional

Step-By-Step

1To a tall glass or pint Mason jar, add ice.

2Add sherbet.

3Add soda to cover sherbet (if you add too much, add more sherbet.)

4Stir slightly; garnish as desired. Serve with an iced tea spoon and/or straw.
