using a sharp paring knife, cut the rind off the orange, starting at one end and following the contours of the orange so you have four pieces of orange rind. Set aside.
Add the peeled orange, cream soda, sherbet, ice cream, and milk in a blender and blend until smooth, 30 seconds. Pour into four glasses each 8 ounces. Garnish each with a dollop of whipped cream and one orange rind piece. Serves four.
