Ingredients For mulled cocoa

  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/3 c
    water
  • 4 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    light or dark rum (optional)
  • sweetened whipped cream
  • cinnamon sticks

How To Make mulled cocoa

  • 1
    Combine sugar and cocoa in medium saucepan; blend in water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils; boil and stir 2 minutes. Add milk; heat to serving temperature, stirring occasionally (do not boil).

    Remove from heat; add rum. Serve hot garnished with sweetened whipped cream and cinnamon sticks.
