IRISH COFFEE at The SHANNON AIRPORT in IRELAND

It makes a VERY satisfying drink.
How could they go wrong, using Irish whiskey!!
I cut out this recipe from a magazine in 1977.
Back then I did not save the magazine,or had the internet,so I do not know which one it was saved from.......just another one in my huge box of saved recipe's.. for the last 60 plus years!
Hope you enjoy it.....
- 1-1/2 tsp
- jigger irish whiskey = (1-1/2 oz.)
- hot, strong black coffee
- chilled whipped cream
- heated , stemmed, clear irish whiskey glass
Pour in the hot coffee to within 1 inch from the top.
Then top with the whipped cream.
Do not stir.
Makes 1 serving.
Sorry about the picture...I had to install a new battery to my camera, and the whipped cream started to melt. It still tasted good!
