I wanted a tasty, hot drink for special occasions during those cold Winter months. I finally found a winner in this recipe! I am sure you will agree this hot cider can't be beat during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings.
Combine all ingredients in large boiler and heat on low temperature (simmer) for about 3 hours. Serve hot after removing(straining) spices. (This recipe can be cooked in a Crock Pot on low for 3 - 4 hours.)
*Note* Rushing this recipe by cooking at a high temp causes bitterness.
