I don't always want to cook breakfast when i get up or I don't have time to cook breakfast but I need something to fill me up and I need something healthy and good for you and that is where a smoothie comes in handy. I tweeked this recipe by adding spices and a extract to the smoothie. My sons love this very much. It is great for a fast breakfast,great snack or a lite lunch too. I used orange juice because it was what i had on hand,it called for apple juice and you can use that too if you wish. Enjoy! It is so good.
