    panela, grated (panela is a brown sugar loaf)
  • 6 c
    cold water
  • 1 c
    ice

    Add juice of limes to pitcher. Add grated panela to lime juice and stir until dissolved. Add water and stir to combine.

    Chill for several hours or serve immediately over ice. If time permits, make ice cubes out of limonada so flavor is not diluted.
