Caipirinha (Brazilian Cocktail)

- 1 large
- lime, quartered
- 1-3 tsp
- superfine sugar (adjust according to your taste preference)
- 2 oz
- cachaca liquor (you can use light rum or vodka, but it doesn't taste quite the same as cachaca)
- 1/2 c
- crushed ice
- lime wedge (for garnish)
1Place lime quarters and sugar in bottom of cocktail shaker. Muddle lime to release all the citrus juice.
2Add crushed ice and cachaca to the shaker, and shake well.
3Pour shaken cocktail into an old-fashioned glass, and serve with a garnish of fresh lime wedge.
