| 3/4 c | tequila |
| 3/4 c | fresh or frozen strawberries (if fresh, remove stems) |
| 1/3 c | triple sec |
| 1/4 c | fresh lime juice |
| 1/2 c | mint syrup recipe follows |
| 1/4 c | loosely packed mint leaves |
| mint leaves to garnish | |
| MINT SYRUP | |
| 1/4 c | sugar |
| 1/4 c | water |
| 1/2 tsp | mint extract |

A long time ago I lived in New Mexico and had a fabulous cook for a griend! She was from Mexico and thrilled me with all her fabulous Mexican recipes! Here is her Strawberry Margarita recipe!!! Great on a hot day or tropical feeling nights!

Combine ingredients and enough ice to fill blender in blender. Pulse until ice is crushed and all ingredients are well blended.Divide among four glasses and garnish with mint and a whole strawberry if desired.MINT SYRUP: Add watyer and sugar to small saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minuters. Cool and add mint extract. Stir.
