My sister found this recipe in a magazine while waiting in a doctors office. We can't wait to try it! And with the football play-offs coming up not to mention Superbowl--what an easy cocktail to make ahead.

Serves:
8-10
Prep:
15 Min
Method:
Refrigerate/Freeze

Ingredients

2 c
crowne royal whiskey (or your favorite whiskey)
6 c
cranberry juice
4 1/2 c
pomegranate juice
2 c
orange juice, frozen concentrate
2
limes, juiced
1 c
sugar
1 c
water, cold
white soda (reg. or diet)

Step-By-Step

1mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
2Pour into a large shallow freezer safe container (I would think a re-useable ice cream pail would work)
Put into freezer and mix occasionally for the next few hours.
3when firmed up a bit--scoop a bit (1/2 cup) into a highball glass and serve with a splash of white soda on top. Stir until slushy.
