Ingredients For mini prairie dogs (hot dog & bacon roll-ups)

2 - 3 pkgcocktail weiners or little smokies (hot dogs)

cheddar cheese, sliced, sliced into thin strips

1 clight brown sugar, firmly packed

1 lbbacon, cut in 1/2
How To Make mini prairie dogs (hot dog & bacon roll-ups)

1Slice hot dogs lengthwise almost in 1/2, but not all the way. Stuff with a small thin slice of cheese.

2Wrap a halved bacon slice around each half of hot dog & secure with a wooden toothpick.

3Layer in bottom of crock pot, & sprinkle with brown sugar so there is a light covering over hot dog/bacon wraps. Repeat layers until hot dogs are used up.

4Cover; cook on low 2 - 3 hours.
