Ingredients For hot peaches 'n cream

  • 1/2 c
    mascarpone cheese
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 4 lg
    peaches
  • 1/2 c
    riesling or port wine
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, unsalted
  • 2 Tbsp
    raw sugar

How To Make hot peaches 'n cream

    In a medium bowl, combine mascarpone & cinnamon; mix to combine. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

    Preheat broiler.

    Halve the peaches; lightly score cut sides of each peach.

    In a medium ovenproof saucepan over medium heat, combine wine & butter; cook, stirring, until butter melts & it begins to simmer. Add peaches, cut side up & cook until the bottom begins to soften, 4 minutes. Sprinkle each peach with sugar & transfer to oven; broil until peaches brown in spots, 3 minutes. Let cook slightly.

    Divide peaches amoung 4 plates & drizzle with wine syrup. Dollop mascarpone mixture either on side or on top of each peach & enjoy!
