- pint spirits (i use brandy)
- 1 lb
- caster sugar
- 2 Tbsp
- rounded of very aromatic freshly ground coffee (not the instant variety!)
11.Place the spirits in a bottle or jar and mix in the coffee, which must have been ground just prior to using.
2Leave for 2 weeks, shaking the bottle 3 times a week.
3Prepare a syrup with the water and sugar, boiling just for a minute.
4Cool and add to the bottle. Shake well.
5Leave to stand again for 2 or 3 days.
6Filter well and bottle.
It is really well worth the work, believe me... it is delicious
