Ingredients For cherry sangria

  • 2 c
    red sweet pitted cherries, frozen
  • 2
    oranges, seeded & sliced, frozen
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 2 bottle
    red or rose wine
  • 1 c
    brandy
  • 1 c
    cherry juice, unsweetened
  • 1 c
    orange juice, fresh
  • 1/4 c
    cherry brandy
  • 1/4 c
    grand marnier

How To Make cherry sangria

  • 1
    Prepare fruit; then freeze 4 hours or until ready to serve. NOTE: The frozen fruit adds flavor without watering your drink down.

    In a small saucepan, add sugar & water. Cook & stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Cool completely.

    In a very large pitcher, combine wine, brandy, cherry juice, orange juice, sugar/water mixture (simple syrup), cherry brandy & grand marnier. Cover & chill for 24 hours for flavors to marry. VERY IMPORTANT!!!

    When ready to serve, add in frozen fruit!
