Ingredients

  • 2 cups red sweet pitted cherries, frozen
  • 2 oranges, seeded & sliced, frozen
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 bottles red or rose wine
  • 1 cup brandy
  • 1 cup cherry juice, unsweetened
  • 1 cup orange juice, fresh
  • 1/4 cup cherry brandy
  • 1/4 cup Grand Marnier

How To Make cherry sangria

  • Step 1
Prepare fruit; then freeze 4 hours or until ready to serve. NOTE: The frozen fruit adds flavor without watering your drink down.
  • Step 2
In a small saucepan, add sugar & water. Cook & stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Cool completely.
  • Step 3
In a very large pitcher, combine wine, brandy, cherry juice, orange juice, sugar/water mixture (simple syrup), cherry brandy & grand marnier. Cover & chill for 24 hours for flavors to marry. VERY IMPORTANT!!!
  • Step 4
When ready to serve, add in frozen fruit!
