How To Make blackberry sangria

  • 1
Prepare peaches & plums; then freeze 4 hours or until ready to serve. NOTE: The frozen fruit adds flavor without watering your drink down.

In a medium (non metal) saucepan, add 2 C blackberries, sugar, water & salt. Bring to boiling; reduce heat & simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; cool slightly & then strain through a fine mesh sieve, pressing gently; discard blackberries. Cool completely. NOTE: Use a nonreactive saucepan (non metal), because the acid in the blackberries can react with the metal making it taste bad!
