Mmmmmm...Sangria!

Kind of like Homer Simpsons saying, "Mmmmmmm...donuts!" LOL!

Ingredients

1/2 bottle
red wine (such as grenache)
1 shot
marie brizard curacao
1 shot
torres 5 imperial brandy
1/3 c
simple syrup (equal parts of water & sugar - boiled & cooled)
4 c
orange juice, fresh
3/4 c
lemon juice, fresh
1
peach, sliced
1
granny smith apple, sliced
1
lemon, sliced
1 pt
strawberries, quartered
1 large
banana, sliced
1
orange, sliced
orange & lemon rind, for garnish

Directions Step-By-Step

Add ice to a large pitcher, about a third full.

Add all sliced fruit to pitcher.

Add the wine, brandy, curacao, simple syrup & juices.

Mix well. Let sangria sit for a few hours in frigerator for the most flavor.

To serve, pour into a glass, spooning in pieces of fruit.

Garnish each glass with a piece of orange & lemon rind.

No not all tried & true for everyone. I post them for myself, it's not my fault that they automatically get posted for everyone to see. If you want to try it....you can post it "Family Tested" for me.

I have been looking for a good Sangria Recipe. My friends mom, from Spain, makes the best, but I can't remember how she did it. I remember she said her secret was that she put a banana in it, and it was sooooo delish. So when I saw that you did the same I got excited. I am so going to try it. I can't wait. Thanks for sharing. ;-)
