MY LATE HUSBAND AND I WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT LIKED RICE PUDDING. SO THIS IS THE RECIPE I MADE.

Ingredients

3 c
milk, 2%, divided
1 c
minute rice, uncooked
2/3 c
raisins - [i prefer the golden]
2 pkg
vanilla instant pudding, - [small pkg.] -sugar free

Step-By-Step

1BOIL: 1 CUP MILK. STIR IN MINUTE RICE AND RAISINS;
COVER. LET STAND 5 MINUTES.
2PREPARE: PUDDING MIXES USING THE REMAINING 2 CUPS MILK.
3ADD: RICE MIXTURE TO THE PREPARED PUDDING MIX; STIR.
4COVER PUDDING WITH PLASTIC WRAP; COOL 5 MINUTES. THEN STIR.
5SERVE WARM OR CHILLED.
6SPRINKLE WITH GROUND CINNAMON, IF DESIRED.
