Old Fashioned Rice Pudding

This is a very old recipe that my great grandmother shared many years ago. I love it, it is so simple to make. My husband who doesn't care much for raisins ask me one day to make it and leave out the raisins...I did!!! After eating his dish he looked at me and said " honey, don't leave the raisins out the next time you make it." There's a good reason the raisins are in there, flavor.
