- strawberry jelly roll, about a pound
- small packs strawberry gelatin
- 1 c
- 1 pkg
- vanilla pudding, cook type
- whipped topping
- maraschino cherries
1Line the bottom of deep glass bowl with the jelly roll, cut into 1-inch slices. (Clear bowl makes for pretty presentation)
2Make the gelatin but only use half the water and use sherry for the balance. Pour on top of jelly roll slices and mush slightly. Refrigerate while making the pudding according to package directions.
3Pour the cooked pudding over the gelatin and again let set. Before serving, top with whipped topping and garnish with cherries.
