Granny's Banana Pudding

I had to play with this recipe to give exact measurements. My mother and Grandmother did not use measuring cups and spoons, they knew how much of everything to use.

Ingredients

1 bunch
ripe bananas, sliced
1 box
nila wafers
1 c
evaporated milk
1 c
granulated sugar
3
eggs
1/4 tsp
salt
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1/2 tsp
lemon extract

Directions Step-By-Step

Heat milk, sugar, eggs, salt, and flavorings in a medium saucepan on med high, stirring frequently. Do not scorch. Pudding will thicken as it cooks, and as it cools.

In a large bowl, add wafers,bananas, and pudding in that exact order until you reach desired depth.

Let cool in refrigerator at least 30 min.
Serve chilled.
