When my husband, Ken was in the Air Force, back in the 70's, we were stationed in South Florida near the Keys. I had never heard of Key Lime Pie before then. We went to a restaurant one night and being adventurous, I ordered it. Man...I thought this was the best thing since sliced bread. I have been making it ever since, and then I came down with diabetes. I ran into this recipe and it is yummy. You can't tell that you are eating something that you can feel guilt free about. It is so good.
Dissolve Jello in the boiling water. Whisk in the two containers of yogurt. Fold in one cup of the whipped topping. Spread into the crust. Top with the remaining cup of whipped topping. Almost virtually fat-free, sugar-free and yummy AND easy to make. What more could you ask for. Another good thing about this pie is that you can substitute any flavor that you like.
