Transparent Pie

This is an old recipe. I've posted it as it is written. It's really rich and good. My great-aunt would make it.

Ingredients

4 whole eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup cream
1 cup buttewr
1 teaspoon flour

Step-By-Step

1Cook to the thickness of heavy cream.
2Put in unbaked pie shell.
3Top with meringue and brown.
4No bake times or oven degree were given. I use a 350 degee oven and bake until center doesn't jiggle or a knife comes out clean. Then I add meringue if wanted and brown.
