Ingredients
| 1/2 c | sugar |
| 1/4 c | butter (softened) |
| 3 | eggs,slightly beaten |
| 1 1/2 c | pecan pieces |
| 1/8 tsp | salt |
| 1 tsp | vanilla extract |
| 1 c | dark corn syrup |
| 1/4 c | brandy or rum(if desired) |
| 1 | 9" unbaked pie shell |

Directions
Assemble all the ingredients.In a large bowl cream butter and sugar.Add the pecans,eggs,salt,vanilla,corn syrup & brandy or rum.
Poor into unbaked pie shell.
Baker in a 350 deg oven for about 55 minutes.Cool.Refrigerate when cool.
