I love pecan pie but they are often overly sweet to my tastes.
This recipe tones the sweetness down while still being delicious.

Ingredients

1/2 c
sugar
1/4 c
butter (softened)
3
eggs,slightly beaten
1 1/2 c
pecan pieces
1/8 tsp
salt
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
dark corn syrup
1/4 c
brandy or rum(if desired)
1
9" unbaked pie shell

Directions Step-By-Step

Assemble all the ingredients.In a large bowl cream butter and sugar.Add the pecans,eggs,salt,vanilla,corn syrup & brandy or rum.
Poor into unbaked pie shell.
Baker in a 350 deg oven for about 55 minutes.Cool.Refrigerate when cool.
