My family & friends love it. It is especially good for the diabetes and the folks that are trying to lose weight. It has that extra crunch about it.

6 medium
apples-peeled,corded,and sliced
1 small
can frozen unsweetened apple juice
1 tsp
cinnamon, ground
1/4 tsp
freshly grated nutmeg
2 Tbsp
cornstarch
1
unbaked--9"inch, deep dish pie shell

Directions Step-By-Step

Layer apples in unbaked pie shell. Mix apple juice,cinnamon,nutmeg, and cornstarch in cookpot. Cook on low heat until thickened. Pour over apples and place second pie crust on top. Butter lightly and bake at 350*F for 1 hour.
