| 1/4 c | corn starch |
| 2 c | half n half |
| 1/2 c | margarine, cut in pieces |
| 1 tsp | vanilla |
| nutmeg, for sprinkling | |

Directions
Combine sugar and corn starch in a heavy sauce pan. Add milk to dry mixture and then add margarine (cut into chunks).Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat until mixture thickens and starts to bubble. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.Pour into baked pie crust and sprinkle with nutmeg. Serve chilled. Makes one 9" pie.
