6-8 (prep time includes chilling time)
fresh strawberries, hulled & mashed (or frozen, thawed & drained)
8-oz. containers whipped topping (divided)
macadamia nuts, chopped
1To make pie crust: lightly grease a 9-inch pie plate or dish
2Melt butter; add sugar and pretzels, mixing well.
3Press into prepared plate or dish
4Bake at 450 degrees for 9-11 minutes.
5Cool COMPLETELY; dust with powdered sugar.
6In medium glass bowl, heat marshmallows and milk in microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes.
7Remove from microwave; stir until smooth.
8Return to microwave; heat 1 additional minute on HIGH.
9Remove 1/2 cup mixture to separate bowl.
10Fold in strawberries until mixture is smooth.
11Stir in 2 tablespoons of the tequila and lime juice.
12Add remaining tequila to plain mixture.
13Chill both mixtures for 20 minutes until thickened.
14Divide 2 cups of the whipped topping between each mixture, folding gently.
15Spoon strawberry mixture into cooled pretzel crust.
16Spread plain mixture on top.
17Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
18Garnish with remaining whipped topping and lime slices.
