Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Place prepared pie crust on cookie/baking sheet - trust me, you will appreciate this. Set aside while oven is heating.
WHISK together eggs and add in sugar, butter and vanilla. WHISK together until combined well and smooth - DO NOT USE A MIXER.
Pour into pie crust. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Be very careful with baking time as pie can go from delicious to disaster very easily. (Note: You may need to put aluminum foil around pie crust edges to prevent too much browning.)
