PIE CRUST IS PILLSBURY DOUBLE PIE CRUST OR MAKE YOUR OWN

FILLING

15 oz. cartons whole milk ricotta cheese
2
large eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 c
dark chocolate chips
1/3 c
sugar
grate rind of 1 orange
2 Tbsp
gran marnier or any orange liqueur

Directions Step-By-Step

In a large bowl combine ricotta cheese, eggs, sugar, orange peel and orange liqueur. Beat gently until blended. Add the chocolate chips and hand fold them through the ricotta mixture.

In a 9 inch pie plate, fit the crust into the bottom, flute edges and fork bottom. Add the filling.

The second crust cut into 1 inch wide strips and cross the other ones under as lattice. Flute edges. Bake at 425 for 45 minutes. Refrigerate leftovers.
