Ricotta Pie

My friend Sue gave me this recipe many years ago. It is so simple and oh so good.
Sue uses a Mrs. Smith's frozen, deep dish pie shell for this pie. Of course you may use your own home made crust if you wish.

Ingredients

mrs. smith's frozen deep dish pie shell
2 lb
ricotta cheese
3/4 c
sugar
3
eggs
2 tsp
anise or almond extract (i've always used almond)

Directions Step-By-Step

Warm the frozen pie shell in oven until "dry".

Mix all ingredients well.

Pour into pie shell.

Bake for 1 1/4 hours at 350 degrees.

Remove from oven and allow to cool.

Refrigerate until chilled.
